Gary Heuer

Gary Heuer was born in Oregon and raised in NYC; he learned about death at an incredibly young age. At age four, his 2-year-old brother died in a crib accident, and he had no life insurance. At age nine, his father died in an automobile accident with insufficient life insurance. He saw his mother struggle financially with raising four children.

In 1977, his older brother became a life insurance agent; later, in 1988, he became a life insurance agent and financial professional. His Mother had moved back to Germany for health reasons, and in 1992, she died with a life insurance policy that had lapsed! In 1994, his Sister became an agent; in 1996, his wife, Susan, became an insurance agent and financial professional. Unexpectedly, in 2004, his Sister died of cancer. But she made sure that she had protected her family. Today, his brother is in a nursing home, but his financial cost is zero as a veteran. Most people are unaware of how they would pay for long-term care costs. As a family of agents, we have helped many families and businesses protect their loved ones. Over the years, my Brother, Sister, Wife, and I have all qualified for MDRT by doing the right thing to help families protect their loved ones.

Gary was inducted into the ‘Hall of Fame’ in 2009 with my previous company. In 2014, he was inducted into the “Hall of Fame” for charitable giving. Today, 37 years of helping others, 33 years of MDRT qualification, 18 Court of the Tables, and 7 Top of the Table memberships. Gary is licensed to work with clients in Oregon, Washington, California, license #OH10948, Nevada, Idaho, Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Indiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia & Texas. Gary has two sons, Sean and Tim, and two stepchildren, Nick and Angela. In his spare time, he is an active Mustang Wrangler car club member and enjoys traveling.
